New Site/Name Game

Okay, so, I am in the process of transferring everything to a new site:

www.lphotography.squarespace.com

I am also in the process of creating a new business name. L Photography is taken. I want something clean, simple, and something I won't need to change once my last name changes some day. I need something that isn't cheesy, or lame. It may take me a while to come up with something, but I am taking ideas!

If you come up with something that is brilliant and isn't already being used, I would offer you a mini-photo session with a minimum of 15 edited images for free! So use your noggin!

Preview: Mr. and Mrs. Smith

These aren't the best shots of the day. They aren't in perfect focus. They aren't planned. But do you see the look on Jordan's face? Do you see how thrilled Steph is because she was just announced as Mrs. Smith? Jordan and Stephanie are beautiful people--inside and out. I'm so thankful to be friends with them. These two are precious people and I am so excited for them and their future lives together. Their love for the Lord and their love for each other is so sweet and encouraging.

Congratulations, sweet friends! 

Trust me when I say there's pretty much a million more pictures to come.

Mrs. Stephanie Smith

Alright, friends! Steph is no longer a Jones--she's a Smith! Yesterday was her and Jordan's sweet wedding in Tyler, Texas (that I had the privilege of shooting with the super talented Chris Newby --click his name to see some of his work!)

Anyway, I don't have any previews yet. I actually feel like roadkill right now. That is beside the point, however. I am writing this post so that I can post Mrs. Smith's bridals! She's a total babe!

Okay, believe me when I say there are a TON more that Steph definitely looked so beautiful in, but I feel too much like a zombie (and have too much homework) to post anymore. Sometime this week I will post a preview of the wedding! So keep an eye out!

Preview: Hayden Erwin

It isn't very often that I do male senior photos, but the Erwins are good family friends and asked if I'd be interested. Hayden is one of the most sarcastic humans I've ever met. He's hilarious. This shoot was the most eclectic I've been a part of...from his 1968 Mustang to an airplane runway to a herd of miniature donkeys...this shoot was fun. Here is the preview!

Thank you, Hayden, for your humor. Thank you, Lisa, for being a wonderful friend. I will finish the rest of the pictures sometime this week!

Side note: if anyone was wondering...I am shooting Stephanie's bridals tonight. (She gets married in 2 weeks! Just think: in two weeks I'll be able to post her bridals AND shots from their wedding! Did you forget? I'm second shooting the wedding! AHHH.)

Love, love, love

Life has been so crazy lately; working 40 hours a week on top of doing photography, writing my book, and spending time with family and friends...plus school is about to start on top of all of that...things have been insane! But I am so glad I found time for this shoot with Miss Lauren and her boyfriend, Jake. These two were so sweet to each other. It was so fun to watch them interact, and play, and laugh. They were so relaxed and up for anything which was GREAT.
